New Year’s Eve in Warsaw
New Year’s Eve in Warsaw is usually the most spectacular in Poland. The main event, organised by the City Council usually takes place in Plac Bankowy, close to the Old Town, and the entrance is free.
But this year, due to the Coronavirus situation in Poland and in the whole world, the event has been cancelled. There will be no concert, no fireworks organized by the city. And because all restaurants and bars are expected to be closed due to the restrictions, you can’t find a public place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Warsaw this year.

Not only can’t you find a place to celebrate, but it’s hard to organize a party on your own. According to currently imposed restrictions, you may only meet at home with 5 more people. Like in the whole Poland, starting from 28th of December, shopping malls will be closed except for pharmacies, groceries.
Those restrictions will apply until the 17th of January
